The crowds came from every State
to welcome change inside the Governments door .

A figure of one with a patient tone
talking to a billion or more .

Ever so slowly his sculptured words
carved history on the Whitehouse walls .

Its was more than words , it was belief in what his term of office installs .

Wise men and clerics placed relics of the past and Obama spoke of love .

He spoke of hard times ahead and glanced now and then up to heaven above .

He spoke of change and the need to harness the power of the wind and sun .

He echoed words of statues that gather no moss where slavery begun .

He spoke of a future ,in a strength of character that not many own .

When new horizons were achieved by
seeds of faith that today we have sewn .


In the hands of labourers both black and white are these seeds now being thrown .


This faith we hold is a solid thing and it can never be overthrown .

Faith it remains as it ever was
the corner stone that we build upon .

At the corner stone we place our hopes and dreams .

In God we trust and move on .

For this is the faith we hold and we respect the rights of woman and man .

.The master piece of life a timeless treasure carved in the palm of Gods hand .
