After the people elected Obama
everyone could feel that change was about to occur .
Something was beginning to make some sense


Like a drama unfolding , the ending was good .
His radiant smile created confidence with the people
And he had this warm presence .

To tell you the truth, at the inauguration ,
It was as if a fairytale had come true .
Briefly time stopped there in a magic moment .

Then with multitudes at his side ,
and his wife and family filled with pride ,
he captured that moment of time and then humbly a prayer was sent .

All said Amen
All said yes we can .
All said this is great .
All cried with tears of joy in their eyes .
The fairytale is real and we can relate .


Its time to trust .
Its time for change .
Its time to believe .
It’s a historical time .
It’s a moment in time that we have to appreciate .
