When you love someone you are filled with all kinds of emotions and feelings

I can’t put to sleep
these feelings I keep
and the more that I think
the deeper I sink
into the silence within
and I want to throw it away
in a rubbish bin for another day
and leave the things I say
for him to collect
as he could never respect
the one that I love
and that’s why I cry
for he could never love her
no matter how hard he tried
and it’s a sinking feeling .

Fears here on the inside ,
tears there outside ,
years there on the downside
left me no place to hide .

And every time she speaks of him
I feel like a fish that cannot swim
and I’m drowning in the deep blue sea
and the tide rolls in much too fast
but this cannot last
and I’m breathing in
as this sinking feeling comes over me
and the sea’s too wide
and the air’s too cold
and I’m freezing deep inside
with a sinking feeling
that I cannot hide .

I’m thinking of a feeling
that’s sinking within .
I’m like a bird that cannot sing
for the air is cold
and I cannot hold back
the dark black cloud over head
and as the light grows dim
I can’t begin to tell you how I feel .

I need to heal when I feel like this It’s a sinking feeling .

I feel the walls closing in on me
and I cannot escape this place I’m in .
I’m like a prisoner pinned down by something under my skin .
This heavy load is starting to wear thin
as I cling on as my heart is falling within this sinking feeling
and now it’s time for healing .
