When The Monster Came

In February 2009 the temperature began to climb, in Victoria over 44 and a monster came knocking at the door .
Full of rage from Hades cage,
Run for you lives, but who will survive .
Stay or go , no one’s to know , what to do, it’s up to you .
Every thing was thrown at the flame , in all their efforts they tried hard to contain ,
but there was no warning of the coming wrath all was consumed that lay in its path .
When the monster came , we all said a prayer and remembered them in the bush fire that was there .
They surrendered all when the Monster came
there in the flame .
A changing wind the monster rushed in, away out of control , it turned and spinned , further up the hill to Marysville , the monster there was about to kill, hundreds more in its flame
in the little townships and in the country lanes , water was sprayed from way up overhead and down on the ground the fire turned around .

They surrendered all when the monster came there in the flame, when the monster came .
I watched the video and listened to your guitar rendition of these lyrics. That was certainly a horrendous fire with so much loss of life and property.
