Última Carta

      Perdone usted mi atrevimiento,
al escribirle y dirigirle esta, mi última carta.
Pero es que no puedo, aguantar por más tiempo,
este agobiante impulso, ni esta tristeza larga.
Usted me dijo un día que las cosas amargas
penetran como espinas y desgarran el alma.
Y usted lo comprobó al desgarrar mi vida,
al irse con el alba, sin una despedida.
 
Todavía recuerdo su promesa de amor,
“Te amaré para siempre…” usted me juró
Mas pasado los días, su ternura y pasión,
Perdió toda su esencia al igual que una flor.
Yo no estoy reclamando su promesa vacía.
Ni tampoco deseo que usted vuelva a mi lado,
Pues aún todavía tengo abierta la herida,
y mi alma moribunda continúa sangrando.
 
Usted me dijo un día, oh, reina de rosas!
Que el amor nunca ha existido.
Que el amor ha sido un falso sentimiento fingido.
Pues para no sentirse, solos ni abandonados,
los hombres de este mundo, el amor inventaron.
Yo quisiera decirle –aunque tal vez la ofenda–
Que usted nunca ha querido, y no sabe querer.
Porque cuando se ama, se entrega como ofrenda,
la vida, el alma entera, y el corazón también.
 
Con estas líneas quiero, concluir esta mi carta.
Y pido que perdone, mi gesto blanco en ella.
Pero si yo la ofendo, con estas líneas francas,
Tal vez será que a usted le pesa la conciencia.
Ahora me despido y le doy mi último adíos,
y le ruego al Creador, que perdone su pecado.
Pero a pesar que usted me causó gran dolor,
mi alma está tranquila, pues ya la he perdonado.
