Oh what society has done to us.we watch tv shows on the internet now where I remember we used to only have three networks to choose from, oh what society has done to us,I remember I spent more time outside then I do now,even my mail is by email oh what society has become,we live inside more then we do outside none of us wants to be away from our computers to long,afraid we might miss our daily email or what people are talking about on Facebook or Twitter.Oh what society has done to us. telephones are becoming obsolete
I never answer mine because of my cell phone ,we are becoming robots attune to the computer we had created and to entertain us or educate us I then remember watching the history channel or reading I even do that by the internet,oh what society has done to us .end.
An interesting perspective. It's easy to become addictive to certain technologies that are so easy to use like a cell phone and computer. I do not have the choice to leave the house every day, or I certainly would. I have found that being alone and not interacting with others can be a very good thing for ideation and creativity. For example, you are extremely creative, probably because of your isolation. If you were highly social, your creativity would be very much less than it is.
All these technologies that we are so taken up by are here to stay with more to come. We can use them for learning or trivial social interaction. It is our choice. We can go out and breathe the fresh air and enjoy nature without the benefit of these devices at all. It's great to have choice. It's freedom, not oppression. It depends upon how you look at.
Just figuring that out , are ya...? I well know the feeling as I go out for a walk or bike ride anymore so rarely on top of the fact that is freaking cold out...LOL, -e-
