Ladies, there’s something we need to do
For ourselves
You’ve all heard a man say
I know her body like it was my own
Well that isn’t good enough
You need to know your body
Like it is your own
Know what is normal for you
What hurts and what doesn’t
What is there and what isn’t
Is it normal for you, if not, when did it change
Know yourself
No one, not even a doctor can help you
Unless you know when something
Is wrong
And the only way to know is to KNOW
Absolutely KNOW yourself
Know the feel, the smell, the look
Of your body
Look at yourself like you have never
Seen yourself before
Learn what’s there, notice when it changes
Know yourself honey
Because if you don’t, no one else
May ever get the chance to
Posted for Sue, who will be back tomorrow - well and rested!
This is right on...it is imperative to know ones body inside and out and even though some changes may make for excessive worry for nothing we can never predict or assume anything. Frequent testing and examinations by a physician can at least allay fears or detect something early enough for effective treatment. Excellent advice.
excellent advice..and i can tell you from my own touch and go's..this is worth more than dollar value, heeding.
great job sue. hope you are better and will be back soon.

Wonderful post. I am discovering who I am from the inside out... at least I think I am.

obviously there must be a sound reason.
Glad to hear she is well,(maybe not after tomorrow perhaps)
Morchuis.
