Cries of the Unborn

How do they sleep
at night
whilst their babies weep
broken in pieces
just because...

How do they justify
the silent cry
The life not yet born
but left to die
why?

How can they reason
with unreasonable clause
why can't they adjust
or pause
before they condemn
An innocent to pain
what have they to gain?

Nothing in real terms
They lose their baby
The baby their mother
sister or brother
God have mercy
For their mother's have none
for their daughter or son

The protesters bleat
whilst their children bleed
because of selfishness
not need
Most took no precautions
nor responsibility for life
They find relief
with the abortionist's knife

Or so we are led to believe
No one counts the statistics
of regret or suicides
Or the haemorrage bleed
The mortality of infants
in the millions
And many more until reform

It seems the devil has
won this round
But the pro lifers stand
their ground
Abused and bullied by
the mass murder supporters

Who ignore the 3D scans
and facts of life
but choose to believe
there's no value
to the life they are carrying
In their bodies a child's
own genes

They fight for their right
to abort
but ignore the right of
the fetus to live
If a pregnant woman is killed
it is known as double homicide
If an abortionist kills
it's foeticide

The contradictions fly
in the face of religion
common sense and indeed
humanity
when will they realise that
abortion is akin to insanity
Abortion is sin
And there are spiritual laws
that are greater
And will be known therein

No cry will go unnoticed
No sin can be forgiven
Until repentance is shown
Prayers for the deads'souls
Are said by those who care
that tiny angels are waiting
to be reunited with their
mothers' in heaven
Despite their untimely demise
With open arms and innocence
For crimes against their being

God is and always will be all-seeing.
