To the man I love

Don't cry at my Funeral Don't cry at my funeral Don't cry Dry your eye Baby when I die For that's when I learn to fly Don't mourn my passing From this Earthly plane I'm happy to be free Of these chains Don't cry at my funeral Baby be strong I don't blame you if you do It isn't wrong To laugh or cry Just remember I did not die In vain I'm free from this pain I'm free once again Life is too short To argue and fight Don't cry baby Not tonight I die a little Day by day Longing for our time But if fate dictates otherwise I don't want to hear your cries Don't cry at my funeral baby It's put on hold I felt like dying today with my brother But I am not that bold You said last night on Skype That I was strong And baby you are Not wrong As bedlam ensued Earlier on I just stayed calm No screams No drama No making a scene As he my brother Would have wanted me To remain cool I'm no longer joking Or playing the fool When I say Don't cry Because I did not die.
