God's children are not door mats.
Remember that the next time you DARE disrespect me, or one of my brothers or sisters. Next time WILL be the LAST time. Let this poem be your warning.

Jokes my way blown smoked my brain,

Backward editor to mentally lame lost,

Rapier wits endangered my blind eyes,

Gun to your head on pedestal it will cost.

Tourniquet twisted too tight Eddies,

Flame my suffering bouncing Betties,

Celebrated fool throw your confettis,

Cutting like darkest night's machetes.

Anger slaps your fat old gray two-faces,

Laughing hardily around the Den's places,

Band-aided poetry and stories LSD  laces,

Mr. Shakespeare and Homer left no traces.

If I could strangle your neck with a garrote,

Give I your liver to birds of prey to eat fatly,

No mock apology feigns you spitting parrot,

Death give I no pretense via this poem flatly.

YOu're like sugar, you dabble here and there, in small quantities with your expressive words STAR!
Then other verse, you dump it! and it's felt deeply!
J'nia my friend too, said it PERFECTLY what I would have said to YOU!
Walk and tread lightly, so as you do, you can sense their real self coming through!
Sorry this happens to you!
YOU have such talent and thought provoking verses are a talent!

Warmest Blessings Love and Hugs, Purple Lady Passion, SHEExooo

I do not understand why some people feel a "need" to spread hatred. Thank you, Rockie. Love and peace to you,

They say you get more with sugar and honey, but far too many have forgotten. Your angery rightfully shows and is well expressed...

Be always safe,
Karen

Rockie,
I think this expresses well the hurt you still feel. This is exactly why we should always treat others the way we would like to be treated. What ever happened to that saying, anyway? Stay strong~

Now that's telling 'em! Wow, if I were a hater, I'd be scared to show my face 'round these parts again! Terrific rebuttal; bravo!!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

Wow. A tad frightening my friend. But, well put, very classic, very enviable. It is painful when one attacks you personally. And you are right, especially by one who claims to be something they are not. When the profile looks suspicious, you know, when the culprit claims to have a university education but writes like a grade 4 student, one has to wonder, and be careful too. I know where of I speak. Be that as it may, I have learned to be cautious, taking my time to bestow trust on anyone, knowing too that anyone can just walk away without a word for any number of reasons and I am left feeling the loss. But, to choose not to connect on an emotional level with other writers leaves me cold and isolated. So, I choose to give, to trust, to love and to care about others here in the den. Thank you for this Rockie. Blessings, J'nia

Starman,

That's telling those that have nothing better to do than spread hate and discontent through flaming OFF (and in rhyme, yet). Well done! Too much of that going on, and the sad part is, they hide behind a persona they want to be, not revealing their true name or having any titles to their name. Wrote about this, myself, under "Magnificent Carnac," when another poet was attacked for no reason. There's constructive criticism and then there's blatant attacks. No call for it! We're family here, ya know? Attack one, all are attacked.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
