Movement shimmering past,

my eyes catch a glimpse

of the white rabbit running

across the field

of my vision, blurred

with cotton tail lies -

my eyelids heavy,

drowsy, sluggish

sitting on this couch

trying to comprehend

the man on the screen

walking down the street,

where is he going?

there it goes again,

out of nowhere

turn once, turn twice

it is gone, behind the trees,

leaves me wanting
