Staring at my monitor
Wondering what to write
Not a glimpse of an
Idea is in sight
I don't want to disappoint
My readers at the den
I have to think of something
Worthwhile to put in
Staring at my monitor
Not knowing quite what to say
If I had talent like La Belle
Now that would make my day
She can make a man drool
Over her senusal writes
Wish I could create like her
Her verses flow just right
Staring at my monitor
Lady Peg comes to my mind
She has an eleqant flair
Her poems are always fine
She captures her readers
With her talented pen
Wish I could write like her
To post in AuthorsDen
Staring at my monitor
Stetchman Ron pops in my head
His drawings and his poetry
They should all be read
Wish I could write like him
And stetch like him too
His talent is just awesome
But it's something
I can't do
Staring at my monitor
Just don't know what to say
Tinka comes to my mind
With her own unique way
If I could only write like her
That would be my goal
With every word she writes
Her verses touch the soul
Staring at my monitor
I can't help think of TRASK
His powerful writes
Answer many questions asked
If I could write like him
Find the secret of his pen
But his style is all his own
He's the voice of the den
Staring at my monitor
Sandie Angel comes to mind
Her poems make me smile
Her words are always kind
Wish I could write like her
She writes straight from the heart
To capture the magic of her words
I wouldn't know where to start
Staring at my monitor
I think of John Bidwell
His poems are outstanding
What stories he can tell
Wish I could write like him
Such talent to possess
He's and asset to AuthorsDen
He always gives his best
Staring at my monitor
I think of my Ad family
I wish I could name all of you
For you mean the world to me
Wish I could write like you
So much talent I have seen
Thanks for gracing the pages
On my monitor screen

Linda, this is an exceptionally well-crafted and wonderful tribute to the many yet there is only one who leaves me staring at the monitor and that is you, Poet.
