If I could live one day over - do you
know what I would do?
I would give my Mom a hug and kiss
and tell her..I Love You.

I would walk up to the homeless and
lend a helping hand-
Instead of rushing by them as fast
as I can!

I would take the time to smell the roses-
I would live for each day.
I would smile more and frown less and
be careful what I say.

If I could live one day over it may not
make a big difference in my life-
But for that day I would try to be a better
person...a better wife.

I would help that lonely neighbor who
seems so all alone-
I would take joy in every minute
before it is gone!

I would help that stranded old man, who's
car has broken down-
I would visit the elderly - read to them -
or drive them into town.

I would do all I could for that one day
to simply bring a smile-
Instead of being so self-absorbed, I would
do something worthwhile!

If you could live one day over - if you
could start anew-
I wonder what you would change in
your life-
I wonder what you would do!
