"If God Will Send His Angels" is a beautiful, powerful work, Linda.
Through your words, you have helped us focus our attention on the dying child, the homeless and alone, the frightened young pregnant girl, the man overcome with thoughts of suicide, and the fearful soul being abused.
God acts through one person at a time. Each of us can be that person. Let me add my voice to your lovely poem by suggesting we visit a forgotten, lonely old person in a nursing home. The person at the front desk will know which person needs your visit. Just take them a flower and tell them that God asked you to visit them. Then share with them by reading one or more of your poems. Your kind and thoughtful act will never be forgotten.
Doing this is a powerful act of kindness that will make you feel like an angel of God. And perhaps you will be for God will know the love and compassion of your deed.
See how inspirational your words are, Linda? You moved me to make my plea, and maybe others will be moved to be God's angel on earth.
How beautiful is that my dear friend....loved it! You've penned a beautiful and heartfelt write that captures the heart, spirit, and imagination of the reader! Such a beautiful thought...I beleive that there are angels all around, I have felt them near before in the time of sorrow, troubles, and danger...and others for no reason, sometimes in a warm breeze upon my face as I reflect back upon the beautiful years and family that I have been blessed with...God speaks to us in different ways as He also allows angels to visit in various ways...outstanding write, one of my favorites....write on my dear friend!
Blessings,

I think Dear Linda that he has already sent them and I think one of them may be the voice that he has given you to speak out and for the victims of this earth. Well done keep it up dear friend.
Hugs and love.

There's a film called 'If' and also a song called 'If'. When I finished reading this poem I thought, 'If' - if only.
Scripture tells us that we often entertain angels unaware. How many children, adolescents and adults in dire circumstances have encountered angels? We are left to wonder, but I am certain that angels in their various guises are out there giving sucour to the hurting.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .

A divine 'if' we hope is fact.
