A lone man standing quiet - searching
for someone in need-
Always ready - always waiting to
do a good deed.
Searching all his life for acceptance-
some one to care-
He lived his life in misery - this man
from nowhere.
He turned to drugs - neglected his
family for a high-
Laying in the shadows wishing
he could die.
Craving for a crumb of love - trying
to please everyone-
Hoping that his Dad would one day
be proud of his son!
When anyone had a need - he was
always there-
To lend a helping hand - He'd show
up out of no where.
Acceptance he wanted so - maybe it
would heal the pain-
People would just use him - and throw
him back again.
One day the sun was shining - he
looked up in the sky-
He realized he wanted to live as
he kissed the drugs goodbye!
He put things in order - his family
and his life-
The only one's he needed to please
were his children and his wife.
He still helps those in need -but
he does it out of love-
Now he gets his acceptance from
his Lord above.
He's learned to smile now - He's learned
to accept what he cannot change-
He swept out all the clutter from his life-
some things he rearranged.
Don't be surprised if sometimes you
need a helping hand-
Out of the blue you'll see him -
from the shadows he will stand.
He's never met a stranger - if you need
him he's there-
Then he glides back in the shadows-
this man from no where!

that is my addiction
Wonderful and beautiful write! Full of honesty, the despair, humility, agony of truth, and inspirational in the end!
I wish all families knowing drugs and or alcohle could find the same ending!
Wonderful Write!

From the pits of condemnation and drugs and alcohol rise the fallen warriors. Little do others think of them as warriors, but sometimes the dregs of society. This is not only a man of mystery, but a whole segment of our society who have to fight with the Devil to overcome their problems
and become whole and helpful to the best of their ability. I was one of those men. And through a hard fought, difficult, struggle rose to take my place again in society. Hopefully I will be able to make amends for the wrongs I have inflicted on everyone. But I only make progress one day at a time. Thank you Jesus for touching my life. Bill. Love to Linda and you all xoxoxoxo
Deputy Dave Jenkins investigates the murder of local high school principal, Jerry Egge, but this is a multi-faceted novel that deals with spiritualism, romance, friendship, and children who fall through the cracks.
"Murder isn't usually this
