On this dark and starry night

I bow my knees to you

With a humble heart I cry

I don't know what to do

Lord, you've always helped me

When trials would come my way

I've never doubted Your Power

Or what my Bible has to say

All my life you've walked with me

Through the bad and good years

You've been there thru my laughter

You've wiped away my tears

I need  your help tonight, Lord

Lay Your hand on me

Not my way, but Yours My Lord

That is how it should be

Linda, I can't think of better being to cry to in the dark of night other than the Creator of the universe, God! He hears the prayers of His children, especially those whose hearts are fixed on Him. Your prayer and lament is a beautiful ezample of how one should communicate with God who is the source of all life and King of all thrones whether they be in earth or heaven Thank you. Peace!!!
