Bruised and alone
Her Mama hits her every day

My heart weeps for so many who are in this situation...but by bringing this into the light, before the whole world, this poem is a proclaimation that there is hope!

Moving piece that hits hard on a subject that can never be hit on hard enough. We are the gurardian of our Village's children and we must protect them at all costs.

Brilliant poem, Linda, and a very needful message. So many kids suffer abuse from family members. Neighbors know. Teachers know. Clergy people know. Visiting friends know. Why do they fail to call the police? Their hesitation causes needless further agony, and sometimes death. You should see that this is published widely.
Hi Linda, an excellent write! The children have no future unless we protect their present. We all are intrusted by God to protect the denfenseless children of the world. We must remember someone protected us. It is better for a millstone to be tied around ones neck and that person should jump into the river rather than hurt one of these little ones: I quote Jesus Christ! May peace never cease.
