In My Own Corner

My heart is overwhelmed by all the
sickness and hurt and pain in the
world. I feel a tremendous need
inside of me to heal .. to help ..in
some small way..Yes, I wish I could
hug the world..but its beyond my
power.

Poem Artwork

In my own corner of the world
The clock ticks on and on
I wonder of the wasted hours
That are so quickly gone
The moments that are lost to us
That will never come again
The days we sit and wonder of
What might of been

In my own corner of the world
Darkness starts to fall
My nieghbor is sick in bed
But no time to call
Another moment lost that
I can never retrieve
While the clock ticks on
With no reprieve

In my own corner of the world
Sadness calls to me
So many people are in pain
So many lonely
I wish I could hug the world
Make it a much better place
But time keeps moving on
And I can't win the race...

((((( Linda )))))
Yours is a voice that makes a difference.
A real difference.
The world needs more people like you who care about what is going on around them.
I hope you realize how much good you do by sharing what you feel.
