I hate looking into her eyes

It happens every time I say goodbye

It hurts my heart when she asks me why

The recurrence of this recurring theme

Keeps on recurring to me in my dreams

I wake up in a cold sweat

Feels like I’m drowning, it’s so wet

All I see are those watery eyes of hers

And the pain hurts like I’m the horse that gets the spurs

Some how I have to set this right, she’s all I got

There is a new woman in my life, but she can’t fill her spot

Already lost my wife, can’t loose her too

So she’s coming with me, even to Peru

I’ll just rack up more frequent flyer miles for the company

So every day I can have my little girl in my company

And now I see those big beautiful eyes

And the only water now, comes from the skies
