This is a little rant....I don't have political rants...but I'm PISSED at what happened in our "True North Strong And Free" last week....it's sickening!
This is my version of our new Canadian Anthym.....

 

 
Oh Adanac! We just don’t understand,
Patriotic dreams they grabbed from outstretched hands!
With saddened hearts we hear the lies
Our home no longer free!
Voices far and wide, oh Adanac,
Now question, “Where are we”?
God help us now!
We beg of Thee!
Oh Adanac! We’re scarred for life you see,
Oh Adanac! We don’t know what will be!

These are strong words Anna, and they do have a message. The handwriting has been on the wall for decades, but nobody stops to read them. I am going to end this comment before I start to rant. Thank you for sharing.

What happened? Hadn't heard ... from these lines, sounds serious! To me, Canada has always been my friend and neighbor to the True North, Strong and Free. Well written --
