Kindred Spirits And Friends

I would like to wish every author on the Den a Happy Holidays! And I'd like to say a special Best Wishes to all of my Den friends! You are rare gems that bring beautiful rainbows into my life!

The door was slightly ajar
So I timidly stepped inside.
Hesitant, uncertain,
Would I find friend or foe?
The walls of the haven
Surprisingly sturdy, felt protective!
Before long, I noticed something amazing!
All around me friends were greeting strangers,
Embracing them, welcoming them
Into the fold!
Everywhere I turned
Kindred spirits were connecting!
And it felt like I was home at last!
They understood!
Each of them embraced their passion,
And just like me they were learning
To believe in themselves!
I have never looked back!
From that first visit
To The Author’s Den,
Where my beautiful friends dwell!

...and you have been such a wonderful addition to our den family Anna. I think somehow I have become, unwittingly one of the senior members of our den family and as such have seen many fine writers come and go, I am glad you stayed.

Annabel, though I know, odds are most of us that have forged special and dear friendships here in Authors Den will never truly meet in person, nonetheless, I look forward to each day so I may say good morning, my friend. And though we've, you and I have never truly shared the time over a cup of hazelnut coffee, each morning I do think of you sipping that first cup as so do I.
