Lovely message in this poem and I do believe after reading this that you ,yourself,have not forgotten how you saw the world as a child and that is so important isnt it Annabel...keeping that innocent child within alive and seeing the world with those eyes...there is hope for a peaceful world with folks like you in it to inspire.

It is true we have so much we could learn and use in our day to day lifes from our children. It is sad that all too often we ourselves forget the true simplicity of life that we knew when we were kids.

In a perfect world, our offspring's would be tolerant, hardworking contributors to humanity. Sorry, though, with today's daily influences about them hopefully they will become decent human beings. Lovely, thoughtful poem, my friend.

Ah, you might be right, but I've seen jealousy and greed in children who wasn't even able to articulate well. It is a human condition to be imperfect, even the little children, I am positive of that.
