The call is so deep, and the pull is so strong
That it literally brings tears to my eyes
I would give anything that I own in this world
Just to be back beneath Yukon skies
Back in old Dawson town 'neath the gold midnight sun
Would be Heaven on this earth to me
But, due to some things well beyond my control
I don't know if it once more will be
There is no place on earth that has 'hold of my soul
Like the Yukon-that proud wondrous land
As a lover that holds everything that you are
In the palm of her beautiful hand
And so fate's in control of the future
And I hope she is kindly to me
So I must trust the future to God and good luck
For whatever's to be is to be!
You sure make to sound good and anyone would like to be there enjoying what you described.
