Night and Day
After a dark night
Of lost hope and faith
The sun is bright
Brilliant to the eye
It promises truth
To those who look for it
It shows promise
And it is there
As the day goes by
And the sun is high
In the sky
I wait for that hope
As it builds in my heart
Soon it will be dark
My hope is wavering
So I am waiting
Only a little time left
To see the truth
And hope and courage
Before the dark night
Comes again.
