 MORE FIRE!!!

1998 and Boston is boiling on the verge of overflowing

Someone lit a red flame under the Bean Pot and it is cooking

Now look how it’s bobbling ready to pop its cork

A wife and child got popped and no one knows who did the ghastly deed

Fingers start to point, I know I know

Look where it happened who else could have done the deed

Hurry up somebody tell, tell quick before the pot burns

Be careful sir be certain for sure

A town is waiting, what will they require

More fire, more fire the finger has landed

Color me black where else you need look

The finger has pointed and the code is BLACK

Are you sure sir? More fire. Think careful, more fire.

A town is under siege. A race under attack

Men and boys watch yourselves

Don’t be caught in any strange places after dusk

Code black we have to find the one or the all will pay.

drop-spread-open – close-move – don’t move

Men and brethren be alert

You are about to get hurt

Wait, did I hear right

They found a Black pigeon to take the flight

Grab- hold we got what we need

We found the one who did the ghastly deed

Cool down fire, cool. Let out the steam

No need to pop

We have got our man

Rush to judgment

We must make it quick

The town has been tricked

But the pot must be cooled

I know something, I know something

I will tell you if you promise to make it right for me

A wife and child killed by a husband and a father

Money the money the reason for the killing

He did the deed

Now the pots a bubbling

White folks a wondering

Black folks are a grumbling

And the husband goes tumbling over the Tobin Bridge.

Why you so quick to point the finger when the code is Black

So in a hurry to jump the gun

So a White pointed a finger at a Black

Without proof you ravish a whole city

Did you even bother to check the facts?

I thought someone said that the spouse was always the first suspect?

Or is that true only when the crime is not code Black Boston Burning, cool down, cool down
