To those broken parents
of those bravest sons,,
to their offsprings lost
by the battle- guns.
To the families' tears
that adheared through years,
to all the empty chairs
still declared as 'theirs'.
To the nightmares fought
due to what war brougt,
to unwanted groans
of all war-torn bones.
To the orphaned young
who were 'battle-brung.',
With sorrow deep,

unashamed, I do stand.

lovingly for them I mourn,
and ANZACS,I do promise yet,
this evening as the sun does set,
I'll stand for YOU,
I'll NOT FORGET
