A wonderful poem, but really sad. I pray this is fiction. Real love does not bind, it gives us freedom to be. I fear in this world that there are many who have not seen real love.

Some very powerful writing here, Kay! Missed reading your work...
Onya mate, it gets it out!
Marriage aye, hmmmmm, yes well challenging even if one does manage to stay married. I'm maritally challenged, because he is a man LOL.
325 letters my father wrote to my mother during his time in World War II.
Woven together in a timeline of events of three of his brothers, 5 brothers-in-law, and one cousin, all 10 of them were in WWII at the same time.
The heroic story of how a small group of people, few of them TB experts, found the cure for the greatest killer in human history. But the battle needed to be extended to all sufferers. Why have we failed to take the miracle to the developing world?

"Heart plume he tears,
raw flesh he bares by pruning captive wing
trapped I find my prisoned mind bound by bind
....of ring."
