Because you will not release me,
in order to Share Love,
preferring vows inherited, made
to your Ghosts' Addictions
I Am
clearing my pockets
of your debts’ debris
for this heart,
not stone,
finally awakens
and these lioness' limbs
begin twitching
taking flight from petty street
in man’s-maid town
where nothing is sacred
but your whims-
goals, all
aimed and ready
to destroy
loving, kindnesses,
saluting in duty for
-getting.
ii.
I'd have preferred You
took only Care;
that you'd give like a woman,
closed down your tombs
let fall erect
direct shuns,
oh open-palmed,
smoke-mouthed,
adult-child, orphan:
I am not a stand-in for your mother!
iii.
You are henceforth evicted
from these clay walls
you plastered
cluttering
down the back
halls of My Pupils
where,
drunk upon your ego, marched
you
knocking the Word off my walls.
iv.
I am only a woman you once met!
Clearing, Creating, Breathing
and Spacious;
I will now mount only
the Lioness
upon whose back
I do flee thee
in Hunt for Life
in which I can
turn
like rain
grow
not your wounds, but
MY World, Nature
you'd feared and belittled.
In moments of exhaustion,
I shall lean heavily
against an ox of reason.
I will wiegh down my wide butt
and spread out
roots
in earthy darkness
winding around hardened, molten obstacles,
All less frightening
than
your endless obsessions.
Inhaling the moment, Feel
how The backbone
of Time,
will in kindness uphold me.
As Sequoia’s endurance sustains
life longer
than
your temporal limbs,
or pig-fish mouth
that promised me
love eternal;
until any breeze could stir your tortured ragings.
So many nuances. At times I thought this very jewish, at others very pagan (but there is really not that much distance between)

Tova, doesn't time heal all wounds. You are sacrificing intense pleasure to gain a new freedom; that will offer even more, deeper intense pleasure. So your loss now is your gain tomorrow, right? At least I really hope so. Bill Murray
I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work.
