Dear God!
Where is my family?
Where is my tribe?
Where is the flammed hearth
at which my heart may come to rest
unconditionally
through my parting breath?
Who will cherrish me so
as to be truthful,
regardless the throws
of grief may swell--
thus, I may trust
equally
in the sincerety of our rejoicings?
It cannot be. . .
that I may terry the paths
of this Earth that I cherrish,
yet in this society increasingly drifting
amidst a clamour of drifters
unbonded.
How keenly I long to drawn in-
to the circle 'round sacred fires
and sing as one
of a communal voice. . .unfading
for the strength of generations.

Marvelous write. I understand completely. I have lost 9 friends from Sept. 11. I thought i couldn't write about it but when I look back I have written at least ten pieces on that horrible day.
