Like shards from a broken mirror, memories of us pierce my heart, break my slumber, confound my mind. Futile attempts to piece together, repair and restore the remains of our relationship are crushing. Grasping for reflections of reality that remain just out of reach, teasing, taunting, mocking. Beware, handle with care those jagged edges that cut, draw blood before they cleanse and purify. Path to reconciliation unattainable, but after death we meet to embrace and forgive all.
