To love beyond your heart Feeling a void being filled To care with boundless energy As though you could walk on water To be more than a lover Cultivate the relationship Still keep your individualities And know there will always be- Arguments, breakups, makeups Love beyond your heart

Why does love always have to contain the last stanza? I think it's because otherwise love would be rather boring if there wasn't some drama. Although I am getting a little tired of all the trumped up drama on reality shows. It's getting almost as bad as soap operas. But then, for some reason, women like that kind of thing, and men don't.

Easy to say in advance of it all that there will be arguments, breakups, makeups, but when these things are actually going on it is difficult to hold onto the perspective. Nice if you can, however.
