I think Ron is thinking too "realistically" here. I read this as more evocative and perhaps even symbolic. One can evoke the tides and the ocean anywhere when one is with a lover; even under the sheets. Lol! Thank you for awakening my imagination, Deborah. Love and best wishes,

And terribly abrasive. Never tried it but a friend of mine who did says that beach sand and sex, while appearing very romantic in the movies leads to terrible beach rash and other pains.
