And the storm roars on She crawls to phone; makes a call out of fear Tells her he’s sorry, won’t happen again Dear Police arrive; She smiles, holding her son And the storm brews She tells him she’ll do better; It’ll be all right They hug, they cuddle, love through the night Forgiveness is the Godly thing to do
