Kim, We will never forget.
My God, I ask you, does any person care No funeral, no announcement No word of her death found anywhere! Murdered, left dead on the side of the road Her death didn't make the hometown news Not one word of her death or her life Young girl murdered, she paid her dues She lived, she died, and no one seems to care A *community injustice*, an outrage! This was a human life that was lost No accident, no suicide to take center stage This was a murder and no ones asks why She lived, she loved, she soared high, and she died She lived her life but it's over now. She seemed beaten no matter how hard she tried Thoughts of her still haunt my memory Copyright June 01, 2003 Sherry L Gibson

so sad that nobody cared; yet, when a celebrity dies it makes front page and the news goes on for weeks! a young girl who shouldn't have died, and more people should have been willing to step up and protect her so this didn't have to happen; and now that it did, nobody gives a flying f***. sad. what have we come to? powerful, heartwrenching write! :( >tears < (((HUGS))) and love, your friend in texas, karen lynn.
