A prayer for the safety of this man is indeed important, as is well-wishes and prayers for all who experience tough and traumatic times. you've captured the spirit of miners who come to the aid of their brothers as they are enduring the horror and fear of being buried in the depths of the earth ... you also bring out the exhileration of the miners who have been freed by the determination and skill of they fellow rescuers ... a very moving and well thought out poem uncovering the spirit of man to help each other in times of extreme duress ...

I cannot say more than Kate has. I just It's just a miracle that two miners did survive by the grace of God. I will definitely put Larry Knight's family in my prayers, and pray for eternal salvation for his soul too. It does take very, very special people to tunnel in the earth so far down as Kate has said. I pray that no more miners will die in mine accidents. Thanx sis.



May the Lord Jesus bless all of the people who work in dangerous jobs, so that we may be safe, and provided for. May the Lord Jesus bless the family of Larry Knight who was taken too early from his loving family and friends. And may you keep him safe in your Father's house for all eternity, for he was a good man, taken way to early from his family and friends. Dear Lord Jesus keep all those who work to provide us with our needs, our safety, and even our wants, from all harm. And if they should be harmed, let them not die before they have had a real chance to live. Wish I could look as fit and well on waking up in me own comfortable bed and after a decent night's sleep, let alone after having survived two weeks of utter horror, torment and deprivation as Brant has! A testimony to miracles in itself! Thank God... and, as Susie and others have so rightly expressed, thank YOU, Sherry, for giving us cause to pause and both rejoice and weep at the joys and woes this heartwrenching story of frail yet victorious humanity depicts. I would happily jump out of an airplane miles high, but take me six feet into a dungeon and I'm a gonner. Never before has Gold been thought of as so costly in my estimation... and I am thankful for ALL who risk their lives to do the necessary tunnelling underground - whether for riches or for water. They are very, very special people - as the picture above amply suggests. God bless them - and those who mourn the very sad loss of Larry. My heart goes out to all others who grieve a similar sadness first hand. Well done, Sherry - the lines "Trapped within the tombs of hell Inhaling Satan's breath" says it all for me.
