For Teddy W. May your sadness be tempered by the beautiful memories
Whispers My love for you fills full my heart Though it seems so strange to be apart For the man that I’ve become today I’ve you to thank in every way Your words shall echo on the wind My father and my life-long friend For though you walk through heaven’s door Our souls are bound forevermore It’s not about the day we die But how we live the by and by You made this world a better place By having shared your loving grace So as you leave to take your rest Please honor me this last request That you will stay close by my side With gentle whispers be my guide Sherry Gail Heim July 28, 2003 Copyright © Sherry Gail Heim 2003
