Driven out of my apartment due to no heat, I have spent the last two weeks with my kitten in a motel room. Now that I am back home, I am late posting another poem from the "Library of Congress" audio publication. Your feedback is most welcome. Missed you all!

My heart speaks to me sometimes In foreign languages And fragmented rhymes The forgotten tongues That leaves a gap in time An empty space inside For lonely contemplation to dwell With the sounds of love Love cannot be found Love is lost in the moment And only sticks around Long enough to leave A hollow sound Like an ocean tide It crashes Pounding against the shore of reasoning Then crawls back to sea And keeps me believing I will hear love again But then….. It doesn’t really matter The sounds beckon day and night And I am going to keep falling in love Until I get it right *Terry D. Captures the fickle nature of love to a tee demonstrating how the human soul can still find solace after lost love - '... until I get it right'.

Terry,
Love can have so many dreams, losses and regrets, that can leave you feeling so hollow and lost inside. You've captured them all in a few short paragraphs. None of us know where love will take us, but we all hope to find the special love that will give us inner peace. I hope that you find yours someday.
