Mother gave him birth
Mother gave him food
Mother brought him up
Mother tutored him
Mother carried him in her arms to kindergarten
Mother helped him giving her helping hand
Mother inspired him to become a good human being
Mother helped him to pursue his higher studies
Mother took lead and arranged marriage with his fiancee
Mother pampered him like a little boy even after he became a father
Mother felt unbound joy by seeing her grand child
Mother worked like a machine in the home
Mother like a servant maid served all in the family
Mother one day exhausted and tired
Mother lost her health and cried
Wife criticized that Mother is useless
Mother was scolded and she cried and cried
Mother lost her health and bed ridden
Mother is like a spoiled food now
Mother became burden to all now
Mother is obsolete machine now
Mother is a scrap item now
Mother means affection then
Mother means affliction now
Mother depressed and lost her senses
Mother permanently closed her eyes-
When her own son became her enemy
Mother left this selfish world
To reach the abode of Lord.

This poem comes out of my deep heart and dedicated to millions of MOTHERS in this world who are neglected and destituted. This poem is penned down by me today only directly posted in the net.

Wonderful poem. It really and unfortunately true of practical life. Mothers reall deserve the kind of tribute that has been given. They are what makes a man.
