When I can ill afford them
They intrude.
Bringing discomfort
Changing order to
chaos.
My mind was focused
on the task at hand
Immersed as if
in seething lava
directed toward
solutions to
worldly issues--
Impenetrable
Indefatigable
The epitome
of a laser's
penultimate purpose.
But in a moment
measured in
infinitesimals
of decimals
one whiff
one wiggle
a hint of a giggle
and all my defenses
are debased
destroyed
and discombobulated
as rising surges
of desire
well up for
the inevitable
clash.
Beauty and
the beast
reign supreme
As Nature
insists on
equilibrium.
Whew! It's fascinating...how you've hidden
the flight of fancy...became...so complicated
to see...yet so easy to hear...flows like a poetic
lava down the page...roaring with mischievous
intensions...tricking our minds...challenging
logic...left us to wonder...whether this time
the experience erred to the side of a rational
explanation...while at the same time utilizing
this discombobulated meter...priceless to have
something just out of the range of a supposedly
rational world and the "balance of nature" a romantic
human notion...left a mystery ...to fathom.

You are a hopeless romantic and tail chaser. I command you to stick to straight subjects of great import about our economy and how "they" are doing us in.
Every time you come across a skirt you get all flabbergasted and have to shout it to the rooftops while your wife just giggles at your fantasies. You need to get more like Hefner and pass it on down to younger generations. In the meantime, just keep it up. ;-)
