In Love with Life A song was born the day I heard your voice It stirred my soul and made my heart rejoice Like softly falling rain on my window pane Could this be our day of fulfillment? I feel your presence projecting a dare I sense your thoughts knowing that you care When I am alone or you are not there... How sweet it is. So I memorize moments before each fades away Knowing love has no limits No seconds no minutes To show me the way. Channeling our senses shunning all false pretenses To discover what was always meant to be... A bond of contentment. The joy of wonder. If there can be rainbows from out of the blue There's always some sunshine for just me and you And a few rainy days to soften the view To make our dreams and our wishes come true ... We stand here united Our souls now requited ... A fabulous flow of feelings This thing called love!

Love seems to be a two-edged sword for most... especially those whose career was emersed in body, body, body. Yeah, that's Hollywood. 60 years was enough with 4 wives milking love for a daily drink.

Anyway, your poetic sense of love has many applications, and some of us have found that many of those applications outside of one's partner experience prove to be of considerable importance as we grow older, wiser, and experienced... as you are. Worth the read. Thank you.

I seem to recall your title is a strong line from a song. It's good to see you back and in love. Makes me wonder if you ran into somebody new in your latest adventure.

Whoever she is, she has ignited you into writing about your favorite subject again. Kudos.

Very nice paean to that strange force of attraction that snares most of us and overpowers us at some time or another. Especially nice on this drizzly day with its tinge of Autumnal melancholia. We human creatures are subject to a great many things in our brief moment of flourishing, but this among them is ascendant. Thanks for this lift in an otherwise ruminative day, Ed, here at the edge of this Earth's lower levels of purgatory.

"To stand there united
Our souls now requited,
The darkness relighted
By the fires of love!"
