Music is soothing, but sometimes it has many moods. I would be soothing type of music til I got in one of those moods. Outside the fram of my mind = is the ocean coming roaring.

This takes me to a time not so long ago when I "viewed" Irish lesbians sitting atop a row of rum kegs singing a cappella in Laurie Riley's, a lesbian bar. Music like writing has a thousand genres ... I am so proud that you are a part of it, Regis. I read this poem a few times in complete silence so I could hear each and every sound you described. I can so hear the zither being played by a Japanese-American woman sitting in a pagoda across from a lake of swans. Thanks for giving me music today, Reg!

Ah, a grand wish to be music. Music soothes the . . . well, you know. However, music does not "transcend races." Far from it. Music is used as a battle cry for races to go to war. To put passion and fear into peoples thoughts and hearts in order to used them for purposes most devious. Good poem, just nit-picking about one thing in particular.
