Love Seeds

There is none like you
As unique as a snowflake
And as beautiful

My heart beats wildly
I look for you in the crowd
Anticipation

When we are alone
We close the door to the world
In our oasis

When I am with you
Life provides new horizons
And such hopes abound

A pleasure to meet
And a joy to discover
Your complete sweetness

I so admire you
Respect, love, and desire you
In all honesty

A wisp of the wind
Like your whisper in my ear
Sends thrills through my soul

The world vanishes
When we hold one another
And heaven appears

I am quite content
I want for nothing at all
When I am with you

When you are away
My home is merely a house
Until your return

When you’re in my arms
I cannot help but give in
To your many charms

Once upon a day
You appeared on my doorstep
And my life was changed

I am quite content
I want for nothing at all
When I am with you


I hear ya Regis..indeed my own views on love are the same..however I am told that I live in fantasyland LOL...but, nothing can diminish the yearning for such love..NOTHING!

The wording in the stanzas is great and people might connect to what you are saying, however, there is an issue with the poem as a whole. As a whole there doesn't seem to be a (smooth, natural) flow from one stanza to the next and because of that the stanzas do not connect to make one complete poem. Each stanza in this poem is like a little poem that can be expended further into a bigger piece -- that is 12 little poems that can be made into 12 bigger ones. I have read this poem over a number of times and each time I get the same feeling/reaction. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. The content isn't bad. It is each stanza connecting and flowing together as a whole that is the issue for me.
