A Lady in Red

She put me to the test,
Then told me that I was well-bred.
A Fellow Named Davin
Davin is my friend’s special bro,
He’s hoping for an SRO;

His gig’s always a hit,
As his fame continues to grow.

So much so that he began stinking;

Who met another named Rock;

They adopted a dove,
After reading books by Doctor Spock.

Who woke at the crack of dawn;
She had a lead foot,
Which she heavily put,
To her gas pedal on the autobahn.

Who told me her garden needed weedin’;
She gave me a hoe,
And told me to hoe,
Which I did until my blisters were bleedin’.

Put them on a shelf,

She made everyone lurch,
And all the dogs bay at the moon.

A local lady named Joan,
Never gives her dog a bone;

Instead she gives him an ice cream cone.
A Lady Named Ross

Who married a fellow named Hoss;
Although he was big,
She carried a twig,
It was clear who really was boss.

The writer you describe is me. Like the rest of your limericks, interesting conclusions.
The Rock you describe is probably Rock Hudson.

Laughter is a much needed cure for todays malaise.

can't hardly go wrong.
Like your limericks
They just hop along.
