Just plain silliness... 🤣

 A Lady and Her Kissing Booth and Other Odd Yarns

A Lady and Her Kissing Booth

A local lady named Ruth,
Operates her own kissing booth;
She charges a nickel,
Or a dill pickle,
She’s most popular with the youth.

A Fellow Named Frank

There once was a fellow named Frank,
Who decided he would rob a bank;
He came into town,
Dressed up as a clown,
But then went to the bar and just drank.

A Lady Named Flo

There once was a lady named Flo,
Who knew how to take it real slow;
She had a rowboat,
And with her pet goat,
She was happy to go with the flow.

A Lady Named Kate

There once was lady named Kate,
Whom I grew to love, not to hate;
The reason being,
As you’ll soon be seeing,
She always brings me special freight.

A Gal Named Janelle

A gal from the dell named Janelle,
Is known as the belle of the dell;
She’s a little bit shy,
But I’ll tell you why,
I hope that she’ll ring my doorbell.

A Royal Lady

A royal lady came into town,
On her head she was wearing a crown;
She said she was queen,
Of the Isle of Green,
And also, of the Forest of Brown.

A Fellow Named Bob

There once was a fellow named Bob,
Who had a thingamabob;
It was magical,
And most practical,
He used it on almost any job.

A Fellow from Haney

There once was a fellow from Haney,
Who married a gal named Janie;
They soon had a child,
Who was rather wild,
In fact, she could be quite zany.

A Cat Named Holly

A cat from Toronto named Holly,
At times may seem like pure folly;
To Crystal and Dave,
But they’re both very brave,
So, they’re training their Holly by golly.

A Lady Named Faye

A local lady named Faye,
Went to buy some stuff on e-bay;
When she finally got there,
She bought a teddy bear,
But it simply will not obey.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT RONALD'S SUGGESTION, REGIS. I MEAN, SUPPOSE THEY DIDN'T LIKE IT THEN THAT WOULD OPEN UP A WHOLE DIFFERENT CAN OF WORMS. I SUGGEST IF YOU WANTED TO FOLLOW HIS SUGGESTION...DON'T USE ACTUAL NAMES. LIKE;
A STAR FELL FROM HEAVEN NAMED LAD

WHO SOMEHOW BECAME KNOWN AS A CAD

BUT ALL HE WANTED WERE SOME KIDS

TO CALL HIS OWN AND WORE HIS LIDS

REALLY IS A CRYING SHAME...SO SAD

I LOVE YOUR LIMERICKS! THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Once again, some very creative and funny depictions of people in the limericks.

I'm not much for challenges, but you might be. What if you wrote limericks about real celebrities? And then, tied the limerick to some newsworthy story about them. I know it might be a hard write, but if a celebrity approved of what you wrote, it might start a Twitter storm making you famous!

There once was a star fell from heaven named Brad…

There once was a reality star named Kim,
the queen of the clan called Kardashian;…

As always I had to smile as I read these latest limericks. The Cat from Toronto especially made me laugh. Have you ever tried to train a cat?

His limericks are quote prestigious,
they're certainly not egregious.
So it's agreed,
if a limerick is what you need,
Then just leave it to Regis.

Enjoyed all of them.
