Reading from books that I can hold in my hands had given me tremendous reading pleasures in years. The feeling of a REAL book in my hands where I can leaf through the pages is unlike the feeling of reading from a kindle or on a computer screen. It's just NOT the same experience and feeling.
Reading books opens us up to a world of imagination and active participation through mind soul engagement. No greater way to
spend a quiet evening than with a good book and a cup of tea.

That is one secret about reading a book that people rarely talk about, how reading stimulates one's imagination, where in our minds we concoct stories from out our imagination.
I always wanted to to write the modern version of classics like Canterbury Tales, Evangeline, To Kill A Mockingbird or even comparable classics written by Eugenia Price, Frances Parkinson Keyes, Thomas Hardy or even Robert Crichton.
As a reader, I couldn't help but love this. As a writer of haikus (I have a book published of a mix of haikus and tankas), I couldn't help but be impressed because I know the diligence and discipline required to write them. Well done, Regis.
