Well said, Regis. My mother was a major influence on my life. She introduced me to great literature & poetry and inspired me to become a writer...although she primarily wanted me to be a lawyer. Nobody's perfect. I think of her often and so sad that she died a few days before my daughter was born. Fortunately, my daughter has a wonderful "mommy". Cheers to you and your mother!
You are so right Reg. I lost my mom, who I truly adored, when I was in my early twenties and there hasn't been a mother's day since that I haven't wished she were there.
