Dream Unexpected
Night has fallen upon me
I am a blackbird
Under the crimson sky of my eyelids
I feel
soaked with the incessant rain of tears
from an unending dismal day
I can no longer fly
I am too weighed down
Too heavy
I am falling down
down
down
completely incapacitated
as in a nightmare
But
What a splendid surprise
I find myself
on an exquisite and supple carpet of emerald grass
and my eyes
once again sharp
witness the beauty of your presence
your foreverness
running towards me
with open arms
and your radiant smile
brightens the night
dispelling the shadows of doubt
and confusion
Thank you
Angel You

Reminds me a bit, except for the tears falling like rain, of the "tired starlings," in The White Room.
