Dear Regis, if it weren't for Faith many of us would succumb
to depression and hopelessness. Thank God for Hope and a
belief system that helps us to never give up. May our children
but our future and the ones to make things better in this world.

We had our share of fires here in NS, 150 homes lost om just a few days so can well relate to this RG.

I know this feeling well. A few years ago fires raged in our part of the Great Smokies. People died, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge sustained significant damage, and from where I live I had almost a ringside seat. I didn't have loved ones in danger but I still hurt for those I knew were dying and those who would survive them. Wildfires are terrible things, as their name would attest. I hope your grandchildren and all your loved ones will be okay. You, too!

It is uncanny that New York City is suffering from air quality that is now the worst in the world. All because of 12 times more spring and early summer wildfires in Western Canada carried eastward by prevailing westerlies. The open sore of huge forest removal and tar sands processing in northern Alberta is an example of how Canada is ruining its own economy by making a quick buck on fossil fuels while losing its greatest asset, the boreal forest. Sad.

We all need to change very quickly. I should've gone solar 10 years ago when it was one half the price of today. My electricity cost just doubled this year over last. The people know what to do. Our governments need to act like it is a war to save humanity� Now!
