Evening shadows stretch into the front room we lit the space over our coffee. Perplexed and twisted I etched my words you hollowed out the empty day with everything you had to offer filling the nights. I watch,longing for those memories, echoed all around.

Simple but that's all it needs to be. One little nitpick: It's Echoes. You have a possessive here when you want a plural. (Damn grammar goddess). Short poem but sweet.
