It’s the rumbling in your tummy at the mere mention of a name.
It’s a spirit awakening,
More like a soul quaking feeling you are scared to claim.
And although it can be as intimately blissful as heaven up above
It’s not a place for the naïve …and it takes far more than for you to just believe
So please…Do Not Sensationalize Love!
When it’s REAL, it’s that DEAL...almost too terrific to trust,
What it can’t be is based solely upon passionately pleasing lust!
When it’s SINCERE…there’s no room for Fear, but it is all about the work.
What it can’t be is sold…like it’s something that’s owed or else doubt will always lurk.
Love…
Cannot be given as constellation, nor offered out of obligation!
Love seriously demands so much more than soul shattering sensation!
Love…
Is made of Dedication and Determination built to give a heart something it can FEEL!
Love…
Is made of Passionate Perseverance to enrich the soul with sentiment that’s REAL!
Love…
Is not the perception of superficial symbols of Luxurious Living!
It is the progression of years of protection and supportive, spiritual giving!
Love…
Is made of Caring and Sharing and that gives it Power!
But if left unattended it will die out like an ignored flower!
Love…
Is made of more than feeble fan-fare and demonstration that one is all in
Once it’s declared it is right then and there that the real work begins
And if one is unwilling to put in continual work,
Love will morph into eventual hurt…
Like searing pain you never want to know
Love unreciprocated is like gallivanting in a garden that refuses to grow!
Love feels so GOOD it’s so soothing it’s almost sinful to speak of
Make no mistake Love is not a tool to use or to manipulate so for your own sake…
Do Not Sensationalize Love!
